Jacqueline Meyler

Having previously worked with Spirit of Atlanta in 2012, 2013 and 2017, Jacqueline is happy to be returning for the 2018 season.  Following fulfilling years as a trumpet player in DCI, Jacqueline started giving back to the marching arts as a movement and marching instructor with high school and DCI programs throughout Canada and the United States.

Highlights of Jacqueline's teaching endeavours include time with Rancho Cucamonga High School, Fountain Valley High School, Homestead High School (Cupertino), North Hardin High School, The Sacramento Mandarins and Spirit of Atlanta. Notably, Jacqueline enjoyed her tenure as visual caption head for the 5-time World Champion W.A.M.S.B. winners, the Calgary Stampede Showband, prior to moving to the United States.

As a trained dancer, Jacqueline uses her performance background to help students better understand the kinesthetic awareness and emotional presence required to become a world-class performer, all while encouraging them to pursue excellence.

Jacqueline received a B.A in French language/translation and a post-grad in public relations. She currently works full-time in the communications industry. When she’s not teaching, Jacqueline enjoys dancing, playing soccer, quoting The Simpsons and travelling
