Jacqie Rotch is returning for her third year on Visual staff and eighth season overall with Spirit of Atlanta. With over a decade of performing experience in marching bands, collegiate ensembles, jazz and rock bands, Twitch streaming and many theater productions, Jacqie strives to not only teach visual concepts, but also the performance aspects involved in the activity.

Jacqie’s marching experience includes five years as Drum Major for Spirit of Atlanta (2010, 2012-2015) and three years on the University of South Alabama Drumline on Quads and as Cymbal section leader. Some of her awards include DCI’s first Gary “Chops” Czapinski Award (2014), Spirit of Atlanta's member-voted Spirit Award (2015), and JagTV’s Best Producer (2014).

Her teaching experience includes Visual and Fitness at the Spirit of Atlanta (2016, 2017, current) ,Visual and Movement for Q2 Indoor Drumline (current), Quad tech and fill-in Front Ensemble tech at Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps (2014), many drumlines along the gulf coast, and private drum lessons.

Jacqie is a 24 year old graduate of South Alabama with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in percussion and is currently the Percussion Director and Visual Caption Head at Spanish Fort High School where she directs, designs, writes and teaches their charter indoor percussion program. She also teaches and choreographs for Q2 Indoor percussion and performs with the Joe Jefferson Playhouse Theater in Mobile, AL.
