Daniel Roebuck

Daniel Roebuck is a freelance musician and educator residing with his wife in Oxford, Mississippi, holding a bachelor’s degree in music education from Jacksonville State University and a master’s from Ole Miss.  While in school, Daniel studied trumpet with some of the finest musicians in the field, including Joey Pero, Kelly Rossum, John Schuesselin, and Cameron “Chip” Crotts, among others.  He plays trumpet with several local groups in the Greater Memphis Area. He is also currently teaching high brass for the Oxford Band Program, as well as working with the marching band.

During his college summer months, Daniel marched and soloed with several DCI corps from DCI’s World Class division: Spirit ’07; Madison Scouts ’08; The Cavaliers ’09-’10.  No longer eligible to march, he has returned to the DCI world for a second summer with Spirit of Atlanta.
