Spirit of Atlanta’s 2017 Visual Team announced

Jason Palmer

Gilles Ouellette

Jason Palmer and Gilles Ouellette will return to Spirit of Atlanta  for the 2017 season to head up the corps visual program.  Both will serve as Visual Directors, overseeing a talented staff of experienced teachers in movement and visual design.  Also returning in a new expanded role will be Mikey Cowan, who becomes Visual Caption Head.  Aaron Morgan will assist Cowan in that role, and the corps has named Noah Trulock to the team as Dance Specialist.  Jacqie Rotch will serve at the Athletic Supervisor for the 2017 season.  Rounding out the team of visual technicians are returning members Tim Norris, Chelsey Curran, Vince Osan, and Aaron Bell.  New additions to the staff are Dan Adams, Eric Fry, John Howe, and Jacqueline Meyler, all of whom have stints on the Spirit staff in previous seasons, as well as newcomers Marie Knueven, Destiny Holt, Garrett Thompson, and Brit Roberts.  Recently aged-out members Nick Hunt and Cayla Infield will serve as Visual Staff interns for 2017.

Visual Director Jason Palmer says that he is “very excited that we have assembled an experienced and energetic group of educators” for Spirit’s upcoming season.  Adding “the variety of backgrounds from each members of the staff lets us cover many aspects of movement within our production and education philosophies.”
