2012 Step-Off Campaign
Help Spirit of Atlanta “step off” in style this year by contributing to the 2012 Step Off Campaign!
Each year, hundreds of young people come to SOA with the dream of performing for enthusiastic audiences at over 30 venues across the country. The corps travels nearly 10,000 miles, serves 800 meals daily, and provides housing, uniforms, instruments, equipment, and high-quality instruction to members for three months. Simply feeding the corps everyday costs nearly $1,000! By relying on volunteers and fundraising efforts throughout the year, SOA can afford members this incredible experience for less than half the cost.
With the help of generous people like you, we exceed our goal last year and raised nearly $14,000! Our goal this season is to raise $15,000 by December 31st. Your contribution will help offset the costs required to house, feed, and instruct the hundreds of young people who will attend the audition and rehearsal camps this winter and ensure SOA has the resources it needs to begin the season strongly.
Our friends at the Spirit of Atlanta Alumni Association (SOAAA) have offered to organize and operate the campaign this year. The SOAAA is dedicated to supporting the corps each year so that future generations of young people can experience drum corps for years to come.
