Audition for Spirit of Atlanta 2017

Auditions happening now for the 2017 season of Spirit of Atlanta.  We’ve created multiple opportunities for you to audition, in several locations around the Southeast for convenience.  We encourage all those who wish to try out to attend at least one, and preferably two audition events to ensure the best opportunity to be evaluated, and to maximize your chance to learn and grow.

Atlanta Audition Camp

When: Friday 12/2 through Sunday 12/4.  Check-in begins at 5pm.  Camp ends Sunday by 2pm.

Where: Luella High School – Locust Grove, GA.  Overnight housing is provided and included in the fees.

Cost: $175.  All meals are included.

Who:  Brass, Percussion, Guard, Conductors

Satellite Audition Events

When: Saturday December 10.  Check-in begins at 8am.  Event ends at 6:30pm (Local time)

Where:  ORLANDO AREA: Lake Howell High School  | NASHVILLE AREA:  Mt. Juliet High School.  No housing as these are 1-day events.

Cost:  $100.  Meals not included, although there will be a lunch break.

Who: ORLANDO AREA: Brass, Percussion, Guard  |  NASHVILLE AREA:  Brass, Percussion

Atlanta Audition Event

When: Saturday December 17. Check-in begins at 8am.  Event ends at 6:30pm.

Where:  Marist School – Atlanta, GA.  No housing as this is a 1-day event.

Cost: $125.  Lunch is included.

Who:  Brass, Percussion, Conductors

Video Auditions

If you absolutely cannot attend any of these events, or if you would like one-on-one evaluation from our staff, you may submit a video audition.  The cost is $75.  You should contact yor specific caption head directly by e-mail for information about what to include and how to submit your video.

If you are auditioning for Spirit of Atlanta, please make sure you have completed the following steps:

  1. Register on Corpsdata.  This gives us your important contact information.
  2. Purchase Audition Packets.  This gives you the information to prepare for your audition.  (Brass, percussion, conductors)
  3. Paid your Registration Fees.  This reserves your spot for an audition.
  4. Submit an RSVP for EACH EVENT you plan to attend.  This confirms your attendance and your travel plans, and allows us to properly prepare for the events.
