Spirit of Atlanta and Spirit Coach form a great partnership

Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps is excited to announce that they have renewed their contracts with Spirit Coach of Huntsville, AL to be the 2016 tour transportation provider.

Bryant Goss, aSpirit member of the Board of Directors and the chairman of the corps transportation committee says “the leadership at Spirit Coach is giving our corps outstanding support and flexibility in rebuilding a treasured partnership. Their genuine desire for the corps to be successful has been very evident during contract negotiations, and despite some challenging circumstances, the bond between Spirit of Atlanta and the Spirit Coach drivers last year proved that the company and the employees are of the highest integrity. This is just the kind of long term partnership that we are looking for.”  Goss was excited to note that Spirit of Atlanta was able to pre-pay the entire tour costs in full this season, which was an important goal for 2016.

Spirit Coach’s head of Business Development Bryan Weeks says the two groups have developed a strong connection since first touring together in 2011.  The two organizations are a natural fit and that they “have grown together.“ He explained “over the years we have added new ideas that worked to make the transportation part of the tour run smoother, and removed ideas that might not have worked so well.”  Weeks also mentions that “the drivers that have been on tour with Spirit of Atlanta start asking in December if we are (touring with) them this season.  The drivers, staff and Corp just have a really good time when they are on tour.”

Spirit Coach operates a fleet of thirteen 56 -passenger Prevost luxury tour motor coaches, all of which offer world class styling, unmatched quality, and ultimate reliability.  All feature premium entertainment systems with satellite TV Reception & DVD players, video monitors, wireless internet service, CD player, individual reading lights and climate controls, fully reclining seats, enclosed parcel racks, and complete lavatory facilities.  Recently, Spirit Coach has added a 33 passenger mini bus and a 40 passenger mini coach to our fleet offering reclining seats with seat belts, a wide aisle with ample head room, video monitors, TV, DVD players, Wi-Fi and a low wide enclosed entrance with hand & grab railing.

Weeks also pointed out that Spirit Coach revolves around the safest industry practices and standards, and is certified as a Department of Defense approved carrier, a designation earned by only 10% of the bus companies in the U.S.  He adds “we strive to exceed expectations. Just as Spirit of Atlanta, we all want to be the best at what we do.”  Goss agrees, adding, “we know that Spirit Coach will keep our members safe and provide an outstanding travel experience for all of our members touring this summer. “
